My grandad was such an inspiration to so many people, always had a smile on his face even when he was in pain or feeling down. Unfortunately he got diagnosed with prostrate cancer when I was just a child myself, but that didn't get him down! He lived life to the max and always spent time with his family. It broke my heart when I lost my grandad in June this year, I felt like my whole world had shattered in front of me. Even when he was in his last few days of his life he still made us go on holiday and enjoy our time away! Unfortunately we got a phone call saying he had deteriorated very quickly and that we should come home. Just three days into our holiday we made the decision to get on the next flight home and drive straight to the hospital. Luckily we managed to get around 5 hours with my grandad before he passed away surrounded by all his family. I have now lost 3 of my grandparents to cancer and it's about time something gets done! Please help me in raising not only money towards research for prostate cancer but awareness also! To any men reading this, please get yourselves checked out regular! Stand up to prostate cancer!
